Pirate Paraphernalia Show:
Captain Jack, dressed as a Pirate, starts the show with Polly the Parrot, who echoes your words. We read a Pirate story book and discuss what we know about Pirate and share some Pirate facts.
A Treasure Hunt is first on the agenda. The treasure chest is hidden in the yard and we search for it using Binoculars and singing
“We are going on a Treasure Hunt”.
Once we open the treasure chest we discover eye patches, and pirate hats. We paint a small moustache on the children to set the scene.
Pirate themed games are next including
· Walk the plank
· The deep blue sea
· Cannon Balls
· Sword balancing
· Row row row your boat
· Musical Shapes
· Sword Relays
· Polly Pirate Says
We finish with Creating a Treasure map of
Treauure
Island.
